Basma
is KB Pilates' Main Instructor. Here are a few words
from her:
"Pilates
for me is a life style and to achieve anything of it, you
need to take it onboard with time and allow it to adapt to
your body and use it daily as well, so you as an
individual can change the small habits we all have in life
to something better. I mean everything goes hand in hand
at the end of the day, we just need to find the right path
for ourselves.
It builds
up strength, better posture, core stability, balance,
control, breath and its a good challenge for even the most
well trained person. It has changed my life, but I am
still realistic, meaning this world changes all the time
so do we, it is hard work but with brilliant results.
It is up to
me to make people interested as a teacher and you can only
do that if you yourself are loving what you are doing, I
am not forcing anything on anyone but want the individual
to take a look within themselves. I do correct people a
lot, meaning lot of hands on tuition; of course I am aware
that not everybody is happy about the whole touching
thing, I do respect peoples limits......"
